She was born and raised in Athens, Greece. She graduated in Business Administration. Since her student years she began to engage with the Chinese language. As a graduate she worked in the business and banking sector while interacting with Chinese people.

She has been teaching Chinese and translating for over 10 years. Her love for the Chinese language and culture led her to study in China at BLCU Beijing Language and Culture University – 北京语言大学 with a Chinese Language major at the College of Advanced Chinese Training. She completed her year-long specialty program in Chinese Language & Teaching in 2017. She also holds a senior HSK degree. In 2022, she completed the Chinese Bridge Online Program at the Southwestern University of Finance and Economics (西南财经大学).

Although she is now an experienced Chinese language tutor, she continues with the same dedication and love to educate herself via special seminars and trainings on teaching Chinese as a foreign language.

Teaching is a source of inspiration, creation and development for her. Her goal for her students is acquisition of knowledge on the language and culture of China, which will provide an important asset for the achievement of their goals.
